BECOME A MEMBER OF THE BIBLE SOCIETY OF MALAWI
Do you know that you can become a member of the Bible Society of Malawi? As a member, you will belong to the largest interdenominational missionary organization in the world. You will join in fellowship with those who love God’s Word and want others to have it too. You will have unique opportunities to help fulfil Christ’s command to make the Gospel available to all, through your prayers and gifts.
Please prayerfully consider becoming a member. Deciding to become a member of the Bible Society entails responsibility to God’s calling. As you become our partners, you enter a bigger family called to proclaim the good news of God’s love and make His Word available to all.
How you can support your Bible Society
When you give to the Bible cause, your gift will touch the hearts of many through the provision of God’s Word to those Malawians who cannot afford to buy a Bible. Your contribution will go towards subsidising the cost of Bibles so that we continue to sell them at affordable prices.
You or your Church can support the Bible cause through:
- Regular or one time contributions.
- Membership fees or Legacies.
- National Church Contributions.
- Congregation/Parish Contributions.
WHY YOU SHOULD DECIDE TO BECOME A MEMBER OF BSM?
- To regularly pray for the Bible Society of Malawi and Bible work. (pray for the translators, administrators and distributors who work in this ministry).
- To use your special talents, gifts and abilities to promote the Bible cause.
- To promote and share information about Bible Society with your church and community.
- To participate in the programmes of the Society.
- To promote the importance of owning a Bible and engaging with it only a daily basis.
- To financially support the Bible Society (freewill offering/contribution)

- Be a Christian.
- Subscribe to the vision and mission of the Bible Society.
- Be willing to support the BSM in prayer, time, finances and otherwise.
- You will be contributing to the fulfilment of the Great Commission.
- You will become a partner of the Society and partake in the BSM vision and mission.
- Play a part as a volunteer in Bible work.
- Privilege to elect Board members during elections if you are a life member.
- You will receive a copy of BSM calendar annually.
- You will receive a copy of BSM newsletter.
- Purchase Scripture materials at our outlets and enjoy a 10% discount.
