As part of the Bible Society of Malawi’s Customer Appreciation Initiative, the Chief Executive Officer recently visited key customers and distributors to celebrate partnership and strengthen collaboration in Bible distribution.

The visits included Nkhungudzu Bookshop, with outlets in Blantyre CBD, Limbe, Zomba, and the newly opened branch in Lilongwe. The engagements highlighted the value of long-standing partnerships and celebrated the bookshop’s growth and continued commitment to making Bibles and Christian literature accessible.

In Lilongwe, the CEO also visited Lamp & Light Bookshop and Christian Aid and Literature Africa (CALA) Bible Center, one of the Bible Society of Malawi’s key distributors.

During the visits, the CEO emphasized the importance of strong relationships in advancing the Bible mission, noting that bookshops and distributors play a vital role in ensuring God’s Word reaches churches, families, and communities across Malawi.

These visits reaffirm the Bible Society of Malawi’s commitment to building strong, transparent, and mission-driven partnerships that support nationwide Bible access and engagement.

Honoring a Longstanding Partnership with CLAIM Mabuku

The customer appreciation visits also included CLAIM Mabuku, one of the Bible Society of Malawi’s longest-standing and most trusted partners, with a relationship spanning several decades. A delegation from the Bible Society of Malawi, led by the Director of Finance, Mr. Bright Msiska, visited the CLAIM Mabuku offices to express appreciation for the enduring partnership and continued collaboration in Bible distribution.

The delegation was warmly received by Mr. John Paul Yohane, General Manager of CLAIM Mabuku. This visit reaffirmed a long history of working together to ensure the Bible and Christian literature remain accessible to churches, institutions, and communities across Malawi.

The Bible Society of Malawi deeply values this historic collaboration and looks forward to strengthening the partnership further, building on a legacy that has served generations and continues to advance the Bible mission.
