The Bible Society of Malawi has launched a raffle draw to raise K50 million towards the completion of the Jireh Bible House which is currently under construction in Lilongwe and 80% of the works has already been completed.
Speaking during the launch Bible Society of Malawi board chairperson Mr Garry Jumbe said that the three-storey building will facilitate financial sustainability for the organisation. He said: “This building will benefit Malawian in terms of accessibility as the Bible prices and rental expenditures will be reduced in the long term.”
On his part, Dr Davis Lanjesi who presided over the launch as the Guest of Honour, urged Malawians to participate in the raffle draw, saying the planned project will facilitate the spread of the gospel.
Tickets for the draw are being sold at K5,000 and can be bought from Bible Society of Malawi Bible Shops, CLAIM Mabuku Shops and One Stop Pharmacy. One can also participate through mobile money platforms of Airtel Money by making a payment to a BSM account and TNM Mpamba by paying merchant code 600441 while on National Bank’s MO626 one can buy ticket buy sending money to account number 1582728. The main prize for the raffle draw is a Mercedes Benz E25o.
