Young Samaritan
Empowering Youth for a Brighter Future
The Young Samaritan Program (YSP) is a life-skills development initiative designed to equip young people (ages 14-24) with the knowledge, confidence, and faith-based principles to build a positive future.
Developed in partnership with African Youth Service (AYS) and the United Bible Societies (UBS), this program integrates biblical teachings with real-world issues, ensuring young people are equipped to navigate life’s challenges.
Adolescents face significant social and personal challenges that shape their future. Through interactive workshops, artistic expression, and engaging discussions, YSP provides a platform where young people can develop critical thinking, spiritual growth, and positive peer influence.
Project Goals
Equip young people to make informed, faith-based life decisions.
Provide practical knowledge on puberty, reproductive health, gender equality, and self-esteem.
Develop leadership skills and promote self-advocacy.
Encourage environmental stewardship and inclusion of persons with disabilities.

How it works
Faith-Based Workshops: Interactive sessions use biblical stories to explore real-life topics.
Creative Expression: Art, music, and drama serve as tools for youth empowerment.
Life-Skills Training: Teaching self-advocacy, peer influence, and career planning.
Parental Involvement: Encouraging caregivers to support youth development.
As we empower young people to embody the heart of the Good Samaritan, this project fosters a culture of compassion, service, and biblical engagement. Through practical acts of kindness, mentorship, and spiritual growth, we are shaping a generation that lives out their faith in impactful ways. Join us in nurturing young minds to become beacons of love and hope in their communities.
